I know this is in Monroe county somewhere but to the life of me I don't remember where.
It has to be somewhere between Aberdeen and Fulton or Aberdeen and Tupelo, It just ain't right for Hamilton or Columbus.

This is how the jail saw it the last time I took my mother-in-law to Hatley.

She always wanted to go to Hatley just to look around and visit some friends every time I went to Aberdeen to check on her.

This is one of the few buildings that I have encountered that I liked it better before they renovated it.

I love it the way i have pictured it in this series in the 60"s. The house look with the gingerbread in the gable. I have been told that the first floor and the basement in this building is several feet thick. I've never been inside it so I don't know.

Need help in exactly where this is and maybe who lived there.
Coming from Amory to get on 25 to Aberdeen just as you get on 25. there is a little dirt road that angles off to your right. There was this shack with an American flag and a beach towel with Mickey Mouse surfing hanging on the porch. I'm a Big Mickey fan and also an American flag collector. So it was a Moment for me. If you know anything about this place please share it with me.

This little motel still stands on the west side of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is no longer in operation but it still is painted and care is taken to keep it very attractive to the Rt. 66 lovers.

I have traveled every foot of Rt. 66 from both state lines of Oklahoma. In 1991, i wanted to see how much of the original was still visible. I know a lot of it had been re-routed and that a lot of the original was on private land now and not used for transportation. I did fins a lot of places where i could walk it that is way off the beaten path, SO I walked it. there is still a lot of it you can get to if you know how to find it. Follow the old telephones lines or the rails. You find it near either or both .

This little place in Amory Mississippi had to have been a neighborhood grocery story at one time. Tell me if I'm right or wrong and how else has it served the community.

I think this building sat on a triangular lot with streets coming in on both side but memory may fail me here. Please tell me all you know about it.

I am going to include more trains, cars, and boats.

This locomotive was seen in Pagosa Springs Colorado.

Ewell Weaver was a relative of My wife Nina, a second cousin. Ewell called me one day, I had never met him, and said that he was an artist and need some help in making acrylics work. Naturally I was obliged to help him. When I got to his place, I fell in love with how he had tried to make the place look good, little touches like the large pink flowers he had planted around his yard and hose and his bright blue truck parked next to the house. Look for the back side of this place in the future. Yes, we did get Ewell on the right track with his acrylics.
