Celebrating John's, my son, 33rd birthday today with this painting in his favorite colors of blue. In this piece you will find his name, John Thomas Anderson, his birth date, 9-7-77, his wife's name, his two son's names, the state he was born in. church references, golf represented two ways. his high school and college. and a few other little tidbits.

This is one of the little Plien-aire painting done from the car. It was painted in about 15-20 Min's. while sitting in the car enjoying a little mist of rain. One of my favorite things to do is go to the dam during a thunder and lighting storm and watch the reflections on the water and listen to the noises of nature.

I found this old fire truck behind one of the building in downtown Watonga, Oklahoma. It looks to b from the late 20's or early 30's. I tried to look it up but couldn't find one like it. the style is that of the era I've quote. If you know the year and the make I would like to know also. Thanks for any help. I do love to paint vehicles.

This is one of the most interesting little churches I've seen in Oklahoma.

I got to go inside it in June this year and it is really a nice little place for community events in Watonga.

This is painted from photos and sketches from a visit to Arizona a few years back.

I had just been , earlier that day, to San Xavier in Tuscon and when I saw the TWO white domes of this mission it really did make me forget the beauty of San Xavier for a few days.This one was in total ruins except for the dome that the community kept white washed year round.
