This painting was done 2-3 years ago when I decided to tell certain aspects about my life in paintings. This piece basically tells about the influences of the bible and church throughout my life. Of course the cross is at the center of all this/ It is the white in the painting. Look for these things and if you want to know more about what you find I'll be glad to share it all with you. This is a two piece panel paintings done for a show of about 12 artist. where the theme was Nudes and/or foods and using the work of a master for inspiration. I chose to do both, also two panels instead of one and include a work of my favorite artist. PICASSO. If you loo you can see that the middle of the painting, on both canvases, is a copy of Les. Mademoiselle De Avignon by Picasso and one the outside of both panels are models from my sketchbooks. the food in at the bottom center.

Want to buy the Mona Lisa? Call me, this ones for sale. although, Leonardo painted about 40 of this famous lady. This is not one of them. This was a graduate project of mine. To paint a replica of a famous painting as near like it as you could. This was my effort.



"ENTRACE TO RING FARM"

This is a sketch of the entrance into Ring Farm from the porch of the Kuerner's house. It is from the newly discovered sketchbook I did in 1981 on a trip through New England and a walk through both of Andrew Wyeth's worlds. At Chadds Ford, Pa and Cushing, Maine.

KUERNERS SECOND STORY WINDOW:

This is the second story window of the Kuerner's house at Ring Farn, Chadds Ford Pa.

Many of Andrew Wyeth's famous art works are done in and around this farm house. Anna and Karl Kuerners, German immagrants, were some of Andrews most cherished friends, I did get to meet Anna before she passed away. She asked me not to paint her because "SHE WAS ANDREW'S MODEL" I could nothing but respect that. Although since both are gone. I may do it one day.

CORNER OF THE KUERNER'S HOUSE

at Ring Farm, Chadds Ford, Pa.

The is the North East corner of the house that Andrew Wyeth enjoyed visiting and painting. Andrew lived about 3-4 miles from this house. His father N.C. Wyeth was killed in a train accident just over the hill in the left of this picture.

KUERNER'S DINNER BELL AT RING FARM.

This is a sketch from my Wyeth sketchbook. Done in 1981 it is of the Dinner Bell beside the back door of the Karl and Anna Kuerner house at Ring Farm in Chadds Ford, Pa. The Kuerner house and it occupants were one of Andrew Wyeth's favorite subjects. Wyeth lived about 4-5 minutes from here.
