Bertha Vaughn Hickman, my mother-in-law. Was born in this house in 1915. The house is no longer there but my mother-in-law love to visit it every time I went to visit her, up till the time of her death. Most of the house was still there when she died. It is no longer there. Hatley is a small community in Monroe County, somewhere close to Amory and Smithville, Mississippi.
