Size 8.5X11
Medium: Watercolor on 140lb. watercolor paper.
Posting this a day early, for tomorrow the 16th,
This has always been one of my favorite building in Aberdeen, Mississippi.
It is on the corner of Hickory and Commerce St. The building faces north and when I moved to Aberdeen, in 1964 i lived across the street from the South east corner of this building. It is made of a beautiful bark red brick. I got to go all through the building with Mr. Baker, the postmaster when I was doing an article about the build for the newspaper. Beautifully decorated large rooms on the upper floors. I would I do hope you like what I do. Comments and/or remarks are appreciated.
this is wonderful. it looks as if I am looking at it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories! I grew up in Aberdeen and it was a wonderful place to grow up. I was looking up Antebellum Homes in Aberdeen and came across your paintings. They are all very good and look so much like the homes and buildings. They also bring back all those memories. Thanks again.
