"WOOGIE WATCHETAKER"

"WOOGIE WATCHETAKER"
11X14 Tempera
This is my only attempt at traditional Native American flat painting. I am proud of the Native America in me But do not feel that I qualify or understand the meaning behind traditional Native American folk painting. I have several great Native American Artist friends with whom I've talked about their styles and I do love the technique. Hope you like my efforts but I know they are really stiff. George "Woogie" Watchetaker, is a Cheyenne-Arapaho and was a good friend of mine.
