A few days ago I posted a painting of this structure from a photo that I had taken from the 60's when I first moved to Aberdeen. I found this sketch from a book that I had done in the late 80's or early 90's. Trees had sprung up and some one had started to make it look a little better for those traveling on Hwy 45 south, right through the middle of town.
