It was a very good presentation by Randy. He first started by telling of his experience with a children picture bible and suggesting that everyone else probably had the same experience.
Points.
The word is the Bible--Paul means this as the scriptures.
How the word of God has changed through the ages, being confirmed to man. Spoken directly, through the prophets, fathers and apostles and the inspired writings of these men.
The word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
How the word of God came about, the scriptures or Bible as we know it.
Randy's usual funny line was that probably most peoples idea was that GIDEON probably put it in their nightstand.
4 points to sun it all up.
Accept the authority of the word.
Receive the word.
Let the word act in life.
Implication of the Living Word.
