"HOUSE ON THE CORNER OF HIGH AND MERIDIAN ST. ABERDEEN, MS."

No. 325 in my 365/2010 painting series.
Title: HOUSE ON THE CORNER OF HIGH AND MERIDIAN ST. ABERDEEN, MS.
Size: App. 10x13 inches
Medium: Watercolor on 100% handmade rag paper.
I have never been in this house, although i have wanted to tour it for so long. I just may knock on the door next June. It is the only English Tudor style in Aberdeen. I have heard it called the Day House. Perhaps the Days lived there. The yard has never been untidy. It's like the people manicure it daily.
I'm posting tomorrow piece today since I feel a little better right now.
I do hope you like what I do. Comments are appreciated.

Mr. and Mrs. Merle Walters are the owners of this house. Their children are Melinda Walters Clark, Judy Walters ?, and Kevin Walters. Melinda is one year older than me, and her parents have been in that house since we were in elementary school together. It is a very unique home in a town where most of what you see are antebellum homes. The only other home I know of similar to this was the house Lois and the late Bobby White lived in until they built out on old Hwy 8. Their English Tudor style home was over in the Meadowlane Dr. / Pullen Lake area.
I love the photos you're posting! Keep up the good work.
